Mystic Timber’s Ride Station at Kings Island

The Mystic Timbers roller coaster at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio, opened on April 15, 2017. It was designed by Skyline Design and constructed by Great Coasters International. The coaster is a wooden coaster that is one of the most popular at the park. The coaster is located in the park’s Rivertown section.

The ride’s concept is inspired by an abandoned logging company. It’s based on the Miami River Lumber crew, who disappeared while harvesting timber in the Rivertown area of Kings Island. Since then, strange vines and weeds have overgrown the entire site.

The storyline behind Mystic Timbers centers on a lumber company that’s trying to make ends meet. The ride features 16 airtime moments and 3,265 feet of track that will reach speeds of 53 mph. The construction of the coaster will require 330,000 board feet of lumber, 30,000 pounds of nails, 88,000 bolts and washers, and 5,500 cubic yards of concrete for the foundation.

The Mystic Timbers roller coaster at Kings Island is the park’s 16th roller coaster, and the fourth wood coaster at the park. It was built by Great Coasters International and opened in April 2017. Kings Island’s existing roller coaster, The Beast, opened in 1979 and still holds the record for longest wooden coaster track in a single park.

The layout of the Mystic Timbers ride makes good use of the terrain and its final drop makes it stand out amongst the other coasters at the park. The ride also features a warehouse-like setting for the train to stop in. This unique ride concept makes it a standout attraction at Kings Island.

The new ride takes three minutes to complete. The length of a thrill ride like this means that you’ll spend most of your time in line. While some parks feature interactive queues, Kings Island lacks those. That being said, it does have some nice details that make the wait more enjoyable. The attraction is not long but the ride is well-worth the wait. Theme park rides are a great way to spend your vacation day.

The Mystic Timbers roller coaster is an incredible thrill ride. Designed by Adam House, this coaster has many twists and turns. Although it is an out-and-back style ride, it is still considered a “twister” style ride. It has been powered by Millennium Flyer trains and has a variety of twisting elements.

Another option is an all-glass elevator that takes viewers from the terrace level to the side of the building at a 364-meter elevation. Guests can also enjoy a cafe and lounge on the building’s south and west sides.
